Grandstand Section 13

Section 13, officially Infield Grandstand 13, is just past the Sox dugout.  It is farthest from home plate among the highest-price “Infield Grandstand” seats; just past it is Section 12 where seats are an average of $3 lower.

Sections 11 through 13 were added onto the original 1912 seating bowl which extended from Sections 14 through 28.

Section 13 has an unusual configuration because the back end of it has a concrete structure supporting a walkway. This narrowed the last six rows to be only 6 seats wide.  But the aisle between 13 and 12 was moved recently, making 13 wider and 12 narrower.  Before that was done, Row 10 Seat 10 was unusual in that it had no seat back — the concrete wall served as the seat back.

Capacity of this section was 153 in 1975, and it is 277 today.

The seats in Row 1 have long leg room.

Rows 1 through 10 are higher priced than rows 11 through 17.

Best seat: Row 1 Seat 15
Worst seat: Row 1 Seat 18 (behind pole 13/14)
