Section 14, officially Infield Grandstand 14, is just past first base. It is the only grandstand section with an aisle running through it. It is also the outermost section on the right side of the original 1912 seating bowl.
Space to the rear of section 14 was designated an accessible row (18), with spaces for wheelchairs and companions. There are four real permanent seats (14, 15, 18, 19), nine wheelchair spaces (2, 6, 7, 10, 11, 16, 17, 20, 21), and ten spaces for companions in folding chairs (1, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 12, 13, 22, 23).
Capacity of this section in 1975 was 389 in 17 rows. Currently it holds 401 seats in 16 rows.
The numbering system skips several seats because of the aisle placement. This avoids situations in which consecutive seat numbers would not be adjacent. The following “ghost seats” do not exist: 1/10, 2/11, 3/12, 4/12, 5/13, 6/13, 7/14, 8/14, 13/12, 14/8, 15/1, 15/2, and 15/3. Also, Rows 16 and 17 do not exist.
Rows 1 through 10 are higher priced than rows 11 through 17.
Best seat: Row 1 Seat 11 (aisle)
Worst seat: Row 3 Seat 26 (behind pole 14/15)
